Abstract

Generative AI is transforming healthcare by extracting clinically relevant insights from EHR data, yet challenges remain in navigating vast patient populations, diverse clinical scenarios, and complex research questions. By leveraging existing AI assets and knowledge, we can unlock new and adjacent applications, driving innovation in healthcare research and patient care.

Speaker bio

Dr. Sambarey is passionate about using genomics and data analytics to advance patient care. Currently, she works at Truveta as the Director of Life Science Research Solutions, where she leads scientific discussions with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to generate effective research solutions from multimodal data analysis and generative AI to address pressing clinical problems across disease spaces. Prior to this, she worked at Tempus AI as Senior Translational Solutions Scientist, where she focused on oncology data solutions. She has a PhD in computational biology, and has over a decade of experience in bioinformatics machine learning, network biology and real world data analysis across both academic and industry.
